Belwood Dolphins Swim Team Registration

Just got an email from Tom Sandoval and Suzan Packee that I want to share in case there are new residents not yet getting all the neighborhood correspondence:

Believe it or not, it’s time to register your kids for the Belwood Dolphins Swim Team. Registration for the 2012 season will be open February 1st through February 29th for RETURNING SWIMMERS AND NEW SWIMMERS. Please go to the new team web site at www.belwooddolphins.com and click the “Registration” tab to register online and to find more information.*

Our team size is limited to 150 swimmers. Please let your new neighbors in Belwood know about swim team registration. Note, there may be additional spots on the team for “Attached” members this season. If you know anyone outside of the neighborhood interested in joining the team, please ask them to register on the website.

IMPORTANT: YOU MUST REGISTER ON LINE BY FEBRUARY 29th OR YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO JOIN THE TEAM.

Bobcat spotted on Bacigalupi Drive near Belgatos Park in Los Gatos

This last week, a neighbor saw a bobcat come out of the gate on Bacigalupi Drive in Belwood of Los Gatos and head uphill along the road, toward the top of Bacigalupi. Nearby, another resident’s house cat was killed, presumably by the same bobcat.

Please be aware, especially if you are close to Belgatos Park or any big expanses of open space that wildlife may harm you, your children and your pets and take the necessary precautions. In addition to bobcats, we also have racoons, possum, and more significantly, mountain lions and coyotes.
